2 c. sugar
Please ignore the plethora of off-brand items. My mother raised me thrifty =)
Combine your sugar, cocoa, vanilla, butter and milk in a pot.
Bring these ingredients to a rapid boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. We boiled ours for about 5-7 minutes. If you don't boil it long enough, the cookies will not set hard and you'll have mushy balls of delicious goo. Please notice that she is watching the pot and yet it still boiled.
Once it is good and cooked, add in your peanut butter and oats and stir them in QUICKLY (we like to add the peanut butter until its' melted and then add the oats.)
Drop spoonfuls of yumminess onto wax paper and let cool.
Now pour yourself a cold glass of milk and enjoy!

I would have had some to share if my naughty dog hadn't eaten half of them. I should have added a warning to my post-WARNING: monitor cooling cookies at all times else unwanted creatures steal them.
