Dear, Sweet Munchkin,
I can't believe that today marks seven years since I first got to see you, hold you and hug you. These past seven years, God has taught me so much about His love for me through you. Your birth was a big turning point in mommys life. Just seeing your darling little face - that head full of soft, wavy baby hair - you made me realize what really matters in life.
My prayer for you today is the same as it was then. I want you to be happy. I don't care if you are successful. I don't care if you get married, have kids, a big house, lots of money - none of this will last. True happiness comes from knowing the Lord and obeying Him. This kind of happiness lasts for eternity, and that is what I pray for you!
Daddy and Mommy didn't know if you were going to be a baby boy or a girl. It was so exciting finding out that you were our sweet little girl! It was like getting the best gift EVER! Maybe that's why mommy and daddy always go overboard on your birthday. We want you to feel the same excitement that we felt when we first saw you! It's probably ridiculous that we got this for you....
....but we just can't help ourselves! We're crazy in love with you!
